STUDIO POLICIES

Waitlist Policy

You may sign up for the waitlist for any class. If someone drops out of the class, you will be notified if you have been added to the class. If you can not make the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist.

Cancelation Policy

Make every effort to come to class on time. If for any reason you cannot make it to class, you must cancel your reservation 12 hours before the start of class to receive class credit for another day/time. After that, you will be charged for the class. Any students with a monthly/yearly membership who late cancels will be charged $15 per class. Any students with a class pass of any type will lose their pass. All workshops are non-refundable. Private lessons need to be canceled 24 hours in advance. Any class that only has 1 signup will be canceled at least 8 hours prior to class.

Late Policy

Any student who is more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed into class. The warmup is important for your safety. Showing up late puts you at risk for injury. This means you should be dressed and on the floor and ready to go within 5 minutes of the start time, not walking in the door. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early if possible.

Refunds

We do not issue refunds, but you will be able to reschedule if you need to cancel. Please notify us at least 12 hours before your class and we will be happy to reschedule you.

Clothing

Avoid baggy clothing and keep hair securely tied back from your face. Clothing should be fitted and comfortable. No snaps, hooks, zippers, or sequin material. Absolutely no jewelry should be worn. To prevent silk burn wear shirts that cover armpits and stomach. *Please come to class bathed and in clean clothing to be considerate of others using the apparatus / mats after you*

Age

All our classes are 18+. We can offer private lessons for youth with a guardian’s permission. We also offer specific classes for classes throughout the year.

Food / Beverage

Only water is allowed in the studio by your apparatus. Any other food or beverage must remain with your belongings. We offer water & oat balls at the studio for you to purchase if you need it. PLEASE drink a lot of water before, during, and after class.

Alcohol / Drugs

Absolutely no alchohol or drugs are allowed on the premises nor can they be consumed prior to class. Any students who show up to class under the influence will be sent home and no refund will be issued.

During Class

All particpants will be required to respect all other partipants. No texting/phone calls while in class unless it’s an emergency. For your safety, all your attention needs to be on the instructor. Do not mount any apparatus before class has begun. An instructor needs to be present and a proper warmup should take place to avoid injury. Do not teach other students, this is dangerous and leads to bad habits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please review student requirements on our Class Descriptions Page. Classes that indicate permission or experience needed are designed with some basic knowledge of aerial movement in order to be successful. Some classes can be very challenging as they are high intensity and move quickly – students must be able to invert with proper form, perform air hip keys and foot locks, and single star drops without assistance.

When in doubt, ask your instructor!

Aerial Yoga uses aerial silk hammocks that are rigged from 2 separate points and are rigged at hip height in order to act as a prop for traditional yoga poses. Aerial Fitness is a much more intense program that utilizes 15 foot high silks that are split into separate pieces to be used for climbing, wrapping, and executing dance and acrobatic skills in the air.

If your schedule doesn’t allow you to make it to our Intro to Aerial Class, we highly encourage you to take an ALL LEVELS Aerial Fitness Class or any Aerial Yoga Class.

Comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, a water bottle, and a yoga mat.  Please refrain from wearing ANY kind of jewelry- this can cause injury, and tear the silk fabric. Please arrive early to warm up and get settled in for class. Be sure to review our parking and driving directions, as the millyard can be confusing.

Eat a light meal 2 hours before class starts, and avoid heavy meals or acidic foods (coffee, tomatoes, soda) within 4 hours of an Aerial class. Bring water to class and stay hydrated. No gum, please!

Yes, please do- but only within Aerial Fitness classes!  YOGA and AERIAL YOGA classes we discourage electronic devices as this takes away from the experience for yourself , the instructors, and those around you. Within Aerial Fitness classes, we want you to be proud of your accomplishments, track your progress, and make memories with them so you can share with friends and family. We ask that you use video/photos for your own personal practice, reflection, memorization, and growth as an aerialist. If others are in your pictures or videos, we request you do not post on social media without permission
